Everything runs through the Tekla Open API — nothing leaves your model except the text you send.
Say it in plain language — "rename all HEA columns to C-xx", "write preliminary marks on selected beams". The assistant generates Open API code, runs it, verifies the result and reports exactly how many objects changed. Works in your language.
A portal frame in minutes: span, bays, eaves height, loads → three schemes (rafters, trusses, internal columns), each with mass, profiles checked to EN 1993 and a clash check. Pick one and it appears in the model.
Fin plates and end plates that actually fit: between the beam fillets, clear of the column fillet, on the right steel grade. Bolt pattern is adjusted automatically — spacing, bolt size, rows — until every check passes, then written into the Tekla component.
Check existing members against EN 1993 with a readable report — utilisation, the governing clause — and find overlapping parts the model viewer hides.
Consistent names, classes and numbering prefixes across the whole model — columns, beams, bracing, plates — by rules you edit in a table.
